Question by Christoph: do I have to spend my homeowner insurance check on my home? I recently received a check from my homeowner insurance for roof repair. Well I use to do roofing and I don’t see where it really need to be repaired.
My question is, can I spend this check on something Else like bills? I realize that if it doesn’t go to the roof I can’t reclaim it later if there is more damage. Thanks every one.

Question by CiCi L: Homeowner Insurance? Hello. My father was working on the roof and fell off from there. His feet are injuried and he will have to sit in the wheelchair for 3 months. I read about Personal Liability in his insurance policy, but I am not clear if this will cover his medical cost. Any information will be helpful. I can’t contact my agency right now, because of the Thanksgiving holiday. My insurance claim department are not licensed to give me any information.
